Synopsis

Alexander Hamilton’s tale is an extraordinary one. One of the Founding Fathers, Hamilton was born out of wedlock in the West Indies, and orphaned at age 11. He landed in New Jersey in 1772 to begin grammar school. From there, he played a major role in the American revolutionary war, working his way up the ranks to become an aide to George Washington. But that was only the start of the great man’s story, with the subsequent chapters in his life meeting everything from sex scandals, fatal duels and the beginning of the American Constitution.
