The show starts - It is 1962 and Tracy has hopes of starring on the local TV dance program, The Corny Collins Show, but is met with no, it can’t happen. Yet, Tracy proves people wrong and after winning a role in the show with her spunky boldness and killer moves and becoming a star overnight. But she learns that there are injustices in her hometown that she won’t tolerate. What will happen when Tracy and her friends and family fight against the wrongs in their hometown?
